Bredbury St.Marks Cricket Club was formed in 1913 and play at Hillside Road, Woodley, a small village on the outskirts of Stockport MB. The club has grown over the years so that there are currently 6 senior teams (including a casuals and veteran team) and 4 junior teams from u9 to u15.
The club play at present in various divisions in the Vivio Cheshire County League, the UK Fast Cheshire League and the Cheshire High Peak Junior League.

Over the years we have won many honours which include League and Cup triumphs in various leagues. In 2013, our centenary year, the club was successful in achieving the Cheshire County League 2nd XI divisional championship, the over 40s divisional championship and the 1st. XI Fair Play award.

The club enjoys England and Wales Cricket Board “Focus Club” status and has ClubMark accreditation.

Training and net practice for senior teams are held on a Thursday evenings from 6.00pm onwards. We  provide regular 121 coaching from our team of qualified and experienced coaches.

We have a strong emphasis on junior development and our junior section is widely recognised as being one of the best in the area. We currently coach in primary schools in the area. Our philosophy is to provide opportunities for the development and enjoyment of playing cricket at all levels of ability, boys and girls. We have 14 qualified coaches three of whom have attained the ECB  Club Coach level. Coaching for juniors takes place on Friday evenings from 5.45 to 8.00 pm (from 6 to 15 year olds). Players 16 years and over will then graduate into the senior teams.

New members and visitors will always be made to feel very welcome at the club.
